Did you know that you can connect the NetLine Portal to your CRM or MAS, and that it’s pretty easy? We have lots of customers who are using the Portal to load up their sales pipeline in Hubspot by generating leads with content syndication on our lead generation network. To make the flow of leads even simpler, the Portal can be connected directly to Hubspot in a few quick steps. There are lots of other integrations (Marketo, Pardot, On42, Eloqua, etc.), but this post is for you, Husbpot users.
Why connect? Well, for marketers looking to instantaneously transition their qualified leads in into middle-bottom funnel marketing tracks, establishing a connector to the Portal makes it seamless. (Not to mention, you can surprise and delight your sales team with endless reporting on how content syndication is filling their pipeline – nice.)
To begin, you’ll be using a form in Hubspot to capture the data. Make sure you have one set up to accept the data.
Step 1: Navigate to Fulfillment in your Portal account and enter the setup process.
Step 2: Enter the Hubspot API Key in the URL field: http://forms.hubspot.com/uploads/form/v2/
This is the same for all Hubspot users. Then, grab the Portal ID and GUID from your Hubspot form URL.
Step 3: Ensure all fields and custom question fields are an exact match with your Hubspot settings, formatting counts! If a custom question from your NetLine form doesn’t have a place to go in Hubspot, your connection will not work.
Step 4: Generate your unique API key for your connection to the Portal by using the Integrations settings in Hubspot, then test your connections.

If the connections don’t map within a minute, check the formatting of the field terms to ensure the characters match exactly. Missing underscores, uppercase and lowercase characters can throw off the connection. Also, if you’ve added custom fields in your NetLine form, make sure they have a place to go in Hubspot by creating a Custom Property.
